The University of Hong Kong has been offering undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in management and accounting for over two decades. In 1995 it created the new School of Business by merging the former Department of Management Studies and the old Business School. This combination set the stage for the development of a flagship programme in Asia.

The new School of Business was established for the purpose of developing Asian business education. Asia's economic success depends on the achievements of her entrepreneurs and business leaders.

The School integrates the delivery of quality education directly relevant to Pacific Asia with cutting-edge research on the Asian business environment.

Our strength lies in the diversity and capability of our faculty, which receives the highest per capita research grants of all business schools in Hong Kong.
